After studying singing, piano and oboe at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama for 4 years, Adrienne joined Scottish Opera. She has always enjoyed teaching and performing so has run the two careers side by side. She taught at Dunblane High School, moved to Primary Education, became Head of Performing Arts at The Royal High School, after moving from Scotland to Wiltshire and now teaches singing at King Edward’s School in Bath. Adrienne performs on the classical stage, appears with a Big Band, is one half of a duo but she has always harboured a particular desire to sing Rock. In her spare time she also runs a very successful Rock choir called Steeple Rocks. She calls on her many years of experience to give a stunning performance every gig.

The Codfather
The Cod Father,(Mark Smallman - Guitarist/Vocalist) has many years musical experience including several as “Mick Jogger” fronting Rolling Stones tribute bands The Rolling Clones and then The Rolling Zones ! Mark has performed in many amazing venues both at home and on tour abroad.
With guitar as his first musical love he has played in a number of bands but has really found his “home” with Purple Fish. A huge fan of both Classic and Prog rock, Mark’s favourite band is Dream Theater with their guitarist, John Petrucci, one of his main influences alongside such great players as Steve Lukather, Jan Akkerman, David Gilmour and Gary Moore. As a composer his debut CD ‘Who Cares?’ contained 12 original songs and was first released in 1997. He has also written a dynamic concept album, “One Step To Eden”, half instrumental, half with vocals, which follows Mankind’s fall from grace and charts his attempts to recapture that idyllic state of “Eden”. Written and recorded over a five year period the album combines different flavours of music from anthemic to ballad, ethereal to driving rock. One of his aims now is to join with the other members of Purple Fish to produce some new original material ready to rock the world ! |

Roger "Boggy" Marsh
Roger is an experienced bassist and has played everything from Soul to Folk with some Heavy Metal and Country along the way! He joined his first band at 13 playing local gigs around his home town of Bath. His main influences are Jack Bruce and John Entwhistle.
In addition to laying down the bottom end for Purple Fish Roger, or "Boggy" to his friends is keen to compose original music and has so far written a trio of songs with his friend and author Matthew Harffy. Roger is never short of an amusing anecdote to entertain the rest of the band and has found his idea of heaven swapping jokes with Mark! |
